This place is in the food court inside the supermarket, it's very convenient to eat and then get groceries at the same place.
My friend and I ordered crepe #2 and #5 and Tianjin savory tofu. I had the crepe with smoke beef (#5), the beef is very tender and it also has some crispy chips inside all wrapped together tasted really good.
Wait time was a little longer then expected, they explained everything is freshly made, but I don't mind since the food was delicious. Will definitely come back again!

My parents are so funny.  I asked them where they wanted to eat for their anniversary lunch, and they were so excited to come to zTao and eat at the food court.  #asianparents

DoDo is one of the food court vendors.  I was surprised to find a dedicated Chinese crepe place!  Before this, I'd only eaten Chinese crepes at one other restaurant in Houston (Lai Lai Dumpling House in Chinatown).

For four people (my parents + me and my girlfriend), we ordered some jianbing guozi and noodles.  Jianbing guozi is basically the crepe filled with a stick of fried dough (called youtiao).  Honestly, the ones at DoDo were only OK.  The youtiao was nicely crispy, but the overall package was oddly flavorless... like they forgot the seasoning and sauce.  The jianbing guozi I had at Lai Lai Dumpling House was much, much better (and was basically the only good thing I ate at Lai Lai... but that's a whole 'nother Yelp review).

The cold noodles (I can't remember their actual name) were pretty oily and dominated by sesame flavor.  Some salt or other flavor would have helped them out a lot.

OVERALL: 2/5.  We all left a little disappointed.  My parents had their hopes dashed.  If you are curious to try Chinese crepes, this is a good spot (one of the only options in Houston?); otherwise, I'd steer clear.

went all the way there ended up they are closed due to renovation. I called, no one answered at first, later got a call back. I asked about the location, told them there seemed a empty building which are under construction. No apologies no explanation. He just said yes, we are closed due to renovation, and hang up. its not just taking one or two days, but no one, no one change anything to public, not on yelp or google indicate they are closed. Seems they never update their status. Irresponsible business owner like this, I don't even want to try their food.

I went to China about half a year ago and tried the Chinese Crepes there. Since then, I was craving for them, and thankfully, there's a new Chinese Place that recently opened up. We ordered #2 & #5, which was called the Sausage Crepe & the Beef Crepe. I enjoyed eating the Beef Crepe because it was flavorful and tasty. The Sausage Crepe on the other hand was just decent, it wasn't what I really expected. My girlfriend on the other hand thought it was flavorful, but it was a bit dry. She felt like it needed more sauce in it. I wished they cut the sausages into smaller pieces instead so that it would be easier to eat, rather than having big chunky pieces. The Crepe is a huge portion that covers an entire plate. It would've been a lot easier to eat if it was cut into halves or quarters. As for silverware goes, the only thing they had are chopsticks and soup spoons. I asked for a knife or a fork but they didn't have any so we couldn't cut the crepes, so we attempted to cut the crepes with our chopsticks. Our overall experience was good in general, and I would come back to try the other products that is on the menu.

Came in to do some grocery shopping, found this shop in the corner of the food court. Very convenient location inside the store. I have only tried Chinese crepe once before in Dallas, but it was no where as good as this one! I believe this is as authentic as it can get. Everything was freshly made, the crepe was the size bigger than my hand!! One crepe is enough to fill me up. I would suggest sharing it with someone else if you want to try other items on their menu. I love the crispy texture that they added inside the crepe, i ordered the sausage crepe and it was delicious. I would recommend on ordering with some kind of filling inside, it tastes so much better. Downside is, the few times I went on the weekend it was busy, so the wait was aboit 10-15 minutes, but I promise, it's worth it!!
